When spaces like the r/Gifted subreddit and other gifted support groups and forums exist, they should genuinely offer support, encouragement, and open dialogue
My experience on Reddit, and I am not gifted, has been that they intensely silence what is considered not the norm. A differing or unpopular opinion will get you banned from many if not most subreddits, no prior warning and no explanation. I suppose that for those that are gifted there is need for a thick skin and a great belief in self. Just my 2 cents rantish.
Hi you. Right. I am not mad about it, more curious. Interesting learning experience. Maybe it's fear of what people don't understand? Brain is going in the direction of banned books. Just because I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings was banned doesn't mean Maya Angelou did anything wrong.
